When Patricia’s name was mentioned, Theo looked mildly surprised. After a moment of silence, he

said, ‘I won’t forget what I promised Patricia, and I’ll always keep my

word.”

Haillie let out a chuckle, “Theo, even if you don’t consider me a friend anymore, I’m cool with that. But I

hope you remember everything Patricia has done for you! You can’t Just ditch such a great girl like

Patricia just because Ellinor shows up!”

With that, Haillie turned and left, opening the door to the suite.

And there stood Ellinor, right at the door.

Ellinor fell silent.

She had overheard the conversation between Theo and Haillie when she was nearby, so she

quickened her pace, trying to leave the suite in order to avoid being mistaken

for eavesdropping

But just as she reached the doorway, Haillie opened the door.

Now she looked like she had just been caught red–handed eavesdropping and was at a loss for words.

Ellinor waved at Haillie inside the suite and Theo behind her, “Hey! I just happened to be passing by,

you believe me, right?”

Haillie and Theo struggled to find a response.

Theo frowned slightly as he looked at Ellinor

Haillie snapped back to reality purposely turned her head to Theo, and said, “Theo, I believe you’ll keep

your word!”

With that, Haillie returned to her suite. She deliberately passed by Ellinor, paused, and said in a voice

only Ellinor could hear, “Don’t get too cocky, Ellinor! Patricia will be back soon, and then you’ll see who

the most important woman in Theo’s life is!”

Ellinor remained impassive.

Why should she care about who the most important woman in Theo’s life is? She didn’t give a rat’s ass!

So what if Patricia came back? By then, she might have finished her collaboration with Theo, and they

would go their separate ways!

came out with your hair still‘ wet. Where are you off to now?”

Ellinor sighed in exasperation. Belinda was halfway through blow–drying her hair when Byran showed

up. How was she supposed to finish?

‘Belinda and your little brother are arguing in our suite, so I came out to get some peacel
