Chapter 2179 Turned Green

Meanwhile, at Stormwind Sect, Emiliano was intubated all over, with a green liquid coursing through

the tubes.

In front of him was a glass vessel filled with the same green liquid, which continuously churned and

boiled.

Emiliano knitted his brows, seemingly enduring immense pain.

His mother wore an anxious expression as she quietly observed from the side.

“Tucker, are you sure this is going to work? Mind you; he's your son. If this fails and Emiliano's life is in

danger, I'll not let you off!” she threatened while staring at Tucker.

“This technology is already well-developed, so don't worry,” Tucker reassured her and stood before the

glass vessel, where he gently bit his finger, allowing a few drops of his blood to drip into the green

liquid.

Shockingly, he appeared visibly fatigued after the mere act of dripping a few drops of blood into the

vessel.

As the green liquid continued to be infused into Emiliano's body, he began to emanate a faint green

glow while his aura started expanding.

Observing the scene unfolding before him, Tucker laughed. “Don't worry; our son will undergo a

complete transformation in less than ten hours!”

Emiliano's mother nodded in delight and embraced him.

While they were enjoying an intimate moment, Garthor, who stood at Reflection Cliff, continued to be

assailed by the cliff's formidable aura.

Hugh slowly walked toward Garthor and stood behind him. His expression seemed to show how bad he

felt from seeing the pain his son was in.

“Garthor, how are you holding up?” Hugh asked.

Upon noticing his father, Garthor rose to his feet and inclined his head in response. “I'm all right...”

“Don't blame me for being ruthless. I made you come to Reflection Cliff because I want to train and

protect you!” Hugh explained.

Garthor had his brows furrowed as he asked in confusion, “What do you mean, Dad? To protect me

from what? Are you suggesting that I'm not safe in Stormwind Sect?”

“Enough with the questions. Remain at Reflection Cliff for now, and I'll release you once you advance

to the next level of cultivation,” Hugh replied dismissively, waving his hand.

“Dad, are Emiliano and his mother trying to harm me? I'm aware that his mother has held a low opinion

of me for years and that she wants Emiliano to take over my position. Honestly, if Emiliano is a capable

leader, I wouldn't mind handing over the reins of Stormwind Sect to him.” Garthor voiced his opinion.

“That's b*llshit!” When Hugh heard his utterances, his countenance turned cold at once. “You are my

son, the rightful successor to Stormwind Sect. Besides you, no one else is deserving of the leadership

position! You're forbidden from making that kind of remark again. From now on, you need to learn to

manage Stormwind Sect!”

Garthor was taken aback by the wrath his father displayed. He had only spoken in that manner to

showcase his generosity and open- mindedness but never expected Hugh to react explosively.

“All right, Dad. I'll heed your advice and work hard!” Garthor said while nodding resolutely.

Hugh gazed at Garthor with an affectionate expression and sighed softly. “Your mother passed away

when you were young, and you've endured a lot over the years. Having you as my only son still brings

me great satisfaction.”

Garthor eyed his father, his face filled with astonishment. While he was puzzled by Hugh's unexpected

display of melancholy, he dared not inquire further.

After leaving Reflection Cliff, Hugh cast a glance toward the southwestern direction of Stormwind Sect.

In that instant, a vivid green beam shot up into the sky.

The reflection of the green beam fell upon Hugh's head, giving off the impression of him wearing a

green hat.

An icy glint flashed across his narrowed eyes. “You're just playing with fire if you continue to treat me

like a fool,” he muttered.
