“That’s good to hear. Cecilia and the others are in the room next door, and they’ve already taken their
baths. Everyone’s waiting for you,” Beatrice replied. “By the way, don’t even think about fooling me. I’ll
be listening from here!”
Upon hearing that, Jared sighed helplessly. “Mom, I’ve been busy the entire day and haven’t even
eaten anything. Could you at least let me. have some food first? Otherwise, how would I have the
