Zach pulled a dagger out of thin air, and Madelyn saw that his palm was bleeding. Turns out, he was trying to stay conscious by using pain. She saw him walking over with a dagger, and panic rose in her chest. She asked, “What are you doing? Do you want to kill me?” Zach approached her with a sinister look and said, “How could | bring myself to kill you? | just want to slice your ankles so you won't run away again.” “You're insane! You've gone crazy!” Madelyn shrieked.
Zach shouted back at her, “Madelyn, Why do you keep running away from me!” Madelyn kept shrieking while throwing anything she could pick up at him. A table lamp flew and hit Zach right on the forehead.
