Hayson lay on the bed and looked at the photo Madelyn was holding. Suddenly, he twitched as he stared intensely
at her. Madelyn had not expected that Hayson would have such a big reaction upon seeing the photo. He even
stretched his arm out, attempting to snatch the photo.

herself and called for help, “Help… Someone help! Something’s wrong with Father!”
Zach and Yvonne immediately rushed over. Madelyn froze in place and watched as Hayson was carried into an
ambulance. Then, she finally reacted and subconsciously wanted to get into the ambulance. However, Zach
grabbed her wrist, “You’re not going anywhere. Stay at home.”

needed to ask him. “We can go to the study if you don’t want to talk about it here.” He suggested.

wrist, “I’m going back to my room now.”

Madelyn could already hear Dalton’s laughter from outside the room. She walked in and said to Margaret, “It looks
like he really likes you.”
Margaret sighed, “Even my grandson is three years old now. I’ve taken care of him since he was a baby. Whenever
a baby cries, it’s usually because they’re hungry or need a diaper change. I know them very well. You can

Margaret shook a small rattle in front of Dalton, and he was laughing happily. However, he suddenly looked away

Madelyn’s heart melted upon seeing Dalton’s smile. Although she said she did not care about the baby, her heart

and her mood immediately brightened up.
“Margaret, you should go and eat now. Let me take care of him. I’ll call for you when I need help.”
“Sure, I’ll be back in a while.”
Madelyn held Dalton and sat on the bed. There were no major changes to her room, except for the bed being
relocated against the wall, leaving a space for a baby crib that was surrounded by safety rails.
