was close to the Wood family. When Erick Blinken was deployed to the border guard, he was murdered, and his
body was never even recovered. After he died, Willowbrookshire was in chaos.”
He continued, “Hayson took the opportunity to bribe a group of people and used a portion of the Blinken family’s
forces to suppress every prominent family in Willowbrookshire. On the same night, an explosion occurred at the
Blinken family residence, and none of the family members survived. He kidnapped Ms. Wood, and my mother along
with the rest of the Hawk family were unable to escape their terrible fate in the end. If it wasn’t for Ms. Wood who
protected me, he would’ve killed me off too. All this time, I assumed that you were the bastard that Hayson and Ms.
Wood made.”
‘Bastard!?’ Madelyn thought.
If she had not been born, Alicía would not have been tormented by Hayson, or be forced to survive through the
