The Giant Turtle harrumphed. Its tail swept up a violent sandstorm and formed a massive
wall of sand in front of Darryl.

Even though Darryl's speed was quick, he was still halted. He crashed into the wall of sand
and was forced backward.

Then, a huge figure went past the wall of sand and appeared before Darryl's eyes.

Darryl was stunned. He could not help but gasp.
He saw a giant black hound, more than two dozen meters tall. What was even more
shocking was that it had three heads. Its six reddened eyes gleamed sinisterly.
It was the Terror Hound, one of the Four Evil Beasts.
"You stupid dog!"
At that instant, the Giant Turtle locked its eyes on the Terror Hound and said coldly, "I
found this guy first. Leave! This is none of your business."
The Giant Turtle might seem fierce when it said that, but it could not hide the
apprehension in its eyes.
Even though they were the Four Evil Beasts, they were not on friendly terms with each
other. Once one of them found something good, they would fight over it. Furthermore,

The stand-off did not last long. Suddenly, the Terror Hound turned around. All its six eyes
looked at Darryl closely.
"Why don't you pick one of US? As long as you're willing to follow me and hand your
powers to me, I'll make sure you'll safely get out of this godforsaken place."
The Giant Turtle yelled, "Dude, don't believe him. The three-headed weirdo is the
sneakiest of US all! Give me the powers instead. I will see you off, and I'll give you a free
ride too. What do you say?"
The two Evil Beasts knew how powerful their opponents were, so they wanted Darryl to
decide.
