Chapter 5029
Gigi's body was tightly wound. The feeling of Darryl's hands moving over her back made
her feel as if she was electrocuted as she trembled gently.
Her face was burning scarlet as well.
She remained still out of concern that the massage would fail.
"All done!"
A little over ten minutes later, Darryl clapped his hands as he grinned. "Try moving around
now. I'm sure that weakness has disappeared."
He used the chance to admire Gigi's curves as he spoke.
There was no denying the fact that Gigi was stunning. Her skin was as silky as silk and as
pale as an eggshell.
"Alright!"
Gigi called out in response, channeling her internal energy to give it a try. Sure enough,
she had regained her strength, and none of that weakness from before was there
anymore.
Gigi was shocked.
A mere few pressed on her back had done the trick. It was magical.
Darryl chuckled as he got out of the hot spring, addressing Gigi seriously." You'd better
take care when you come to the hot spring again. Remember not to spend too long there-
an hour at most. I might not be around to help you if that happens again."
Then, he left with a smile.
Just then, Gigi stared at his retreating figure with awe as she fell into thought.
She thought that that man was all talk. She never expected that he would have skills; he
could clear her acupoints without any powers.
She would never have believed it if she had not experienced it herself.
"Sister Gigi!"
Nora giggled as she spoke with a playful look, "I told you that the guy knew his stuff. He
was able to solve your problem with no powers.
"Well, you got the experience firsthand. What do you think of it?"
As she spoke, Nora's expression was nothing but smug.
Gigi's face burned under Nora's stare; she shifted her gaze immediately." What... what do
you mean?"
Nora smirked, pointing in the direction of a retreating Darryl. "You were looking at him
dazed as he left, Senior Sister! Do you like him?"
Gigi's face grew redder as she stomped her feet, scolding, "Trying to trick me with your
questions? Who said I liked him? I was just curious. How could he know so much for
someone with no powers?"
Nora smirked, continuing to joke. "You've already touched, you know. How could you let
him touch you if you didn't like him, Senior Sister?" "You-" "Gigi could not contain her
embarrassment. "Another word, and I'll cut your tongue off!" "Hey, it's fine if you don't!
Don't get mad, Senior Sister!" "Shut up, you-"
As the words rang through the air, a playful fight broke out between the two women again
in the hot spring.
On the other end, Darryl whistled to himself as he returned to the Elixir
Sect. 1
As the newly appointed head of a sector, his room was on the second floor of the Pill
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmTower, the most sacred place in the Pure Yang Division. Even the Palace Master would
have to report every time she went there. It was evident how vital Darryl's position was.
After a brief rest on his bed, Darryl got up to sit cross-legged as he began to cultivate and
incorporate the Heavenly Marrow Golden Elixir silently.
"Sect Master!"
Barely a while had passed before a clear voice sounded from below.
Darryl frowned before getting up to go downstairs. He saw a lithe figure standing in the
middle of the hall. She looked around 17 or 18 years old, her eyes sparkling playfully.
The girl reminded Darryl of Jewel, and he cleared his throat in light displeasure.
Nevertheless, he still put a smile on his face before asking," Who are you? What are you
doing here?"
Everyone who planned to visit the Pill Tower, including the Palace Master, had to let Darryl
know in advance. Yet, that girl had barged in. That caught Darryl's attention.
The girl bowed, speaking in a courteous tone. "My name is Sofia. I'm the Elixir Assistant
that the Palace Master assigned to you."
Elixir Assistant?
Darryl stopped short. Sofia seemed to be a little too old to be an Elixir Assistant.
On top of that, she was a woman. There might be some trouble if they were to see each
other all the time.
