Within the blink of an eye, the entire cave was engulfed in flames as hot air filled the
atmosphere.

Goliry could not keep her cool amid her panic. At the same time, the surrounding waves of

increasing disbelief as the longsword was about to pierce through him. "How... how are
you completely fine?"
Goliry had just noticed that Darryl seemed utterly unaffected by the raging flames. He did
not even break a sweat.
How could that man have no powers but be unaffected by fire?
It was far too strange.
Goliry had no idea Darryl had a sage body at the time. Even a spiritual flame from the
Godly Region could not harm him, let alone a regular flame.

Darryl scratched his head as he racked his brains furiously for an answer before revealing

about that either. I took some strange pill about a year ago and suddenly became immune

been traveling the world for years and had never heard of a pill that made one immune to
fire.
Darryl shook his head, a solemn expression on his face. "I honestly have no idea; I just
took it. Now my body becomes abnormally cool around a fire."
He was watching Goliry's reaction as he spoke.

Goliry could not help but reach out to touch Darry's arm when he heard those words. His
skin was cool to the touch, in stark contrast to her boiling state.
Goliry felt like she was about to pass out because her mind was racing so fast.
She had powers, and she was close to being burned to death. However, someone like him
with no powers was immune to fire.
