Chapter 832

After Sean left, Molly sat on the couch. She inexplicably felt that her apartment was suddenly very

empty.

'I was staying here alone before he came. But, why do I feel lost after he left?*

Molly sighed lightly. She then turned around, picked up the tableware that was on the table, and

washed them in the kitchen.

Just when she turned on the faucet, she noticed a bottle of fresh green color juice on the kitchen

worktop.

There was a sticky note next to the bottle. "You don't look so well recently. Drink some fresh vegetable

juice to replenish some vitamins. It's good for your health."

The handwriting was vigorous. She could tell whose handwriting it was when she saw it.

Molly was suddenly sad for no reason. Her nose twitched, and she almost began to weep. But, she

forced herself not to cry.

'Why am I crying?

Tve already cried so much when I was raising my children overseas in the past years.

'Sean never did the things that a husband and a father were supposed to do in those years. Yet, I'm so touched by

just a bottle of juice today?'

Molly wiped her nose. She privately scolded herself, 'You're such a disappointment.'

She then changed her clothes and left her apartment as she headed to the research laboratory.

What she did not know was that Sean had not left.

He ordered Tony to park the car at a discreet position by the roadside.

After that, he watched Molly get a taxi along the side of the road. He felt a lot more at ease after the taxi gradually

drove away.

'She could get it together and go to work. This shows that her mental state isn't that bad!'

He was relieved.

"Boss, are we going back to Northfolk now?" Tony asked at an appropriate time in the driver's seat.

At the same time, he opened his phone and was ready to book the plane tickets.

But, Sean replied in a deep voice, "No."

"But, you told Ms. May..."

Before he finished his sentence, Tony glanced at his boss through the rear view mirror. He did not speak further.

He understood Sean. 'It was just a lie when the boss said that he was going back to Northfolk. I guess he said that

intentionally because he knew Ms.

May didn't want to see him.'

So, he played it by ear as he asked a rhetorical question. "I'll get a hotel reservation for you, then? So that you can

get some rest for the upcoming days."

Sean agreed with a faint grunt without another word.

He certainly did not want to leave. After all, he was worried about Molly's mental state.

When a person was angry, it would not be the scariest thing if they shouted or scolded. It would only

be truly terrifying when the person remained silent. Because sometimes, silence meant that the

person was absolutely disappointed and hopeless.

Especially for Molly. She was always a soft woman. She was also very kind- hearted and friendly.

So, it was very worrying when she became so quiet!

Sean must stay with her the whole time to not feel worried.

For the next few days, Molly was much quieter.

Not only did she not talk when she was working, but she was also alone when she was having her

meals. She basically did not make contact with anyone.

Her assistant, Lynn, was extremely worried when she saw that Molly had become so withdrawn. She

kept asking her, "Ms. Molly, what's wrong? Did anyone upset you? Tell me who it was. I'll stand up for

you!

"Ms. Molly, please talk to me. I don't have any friends in the research laboratory. You're the person I

admire and like the most. I'll be very bored if you don't bother me."

Lynn said in a cutesy voice. Her look and her voice gave the others goosebumps.

But, Molly still acted indifferently. She smiled at Lynn and said, "I'm fine. Don't worry."

After that, she turned around and continued her work. She was in a mood where she did not want to

talk to anyone.
