Chapter 269

Nathaniel and Winona were already standing at the entrance to welcome them.

“Skylar!”

Nathaniel shouted happily. After that, he and Winona took a glance at Yulia. They were shocked at

Yulia’s beauty. However, their smile slowly turned awkward when they saw the little girl in Skylar’s

arms.

Skylar introduced them both before they could say a word, “Dad. Mom. This is my girlfriend, Yulia, and

Yulia was even more embarrassed. She was worried that Lola would shock Nathaniel and Winona by

addressing them as her grandparents. It wasn’t Lola’s fault anyway since Yulia only cared about their

appearance and forgot to remind Lola about manners.

Yulia immediately followed up by greeting them, “Hello, Mr. Fuller. Mrs. Fuller.”

After that, she handed over all the gifts she prepared to Winona.

“Mrs. Fuller. I have two bottles of whisky for Mr. Fuller. This jade pendant is for you. This set of La Mer

skincare products is for Naomi. I hope all of you like the gifts.”

“Yulia, how do you know that I like to drink? Did Skylar tell you?” Nathaniel asked happily.

Skylar shook his head, “I didn’t tell her anything. I told her not to buy anything, but she sneaked out to

buy them behind my back in the afternoon.”

Winona said, “Yulia, listen to Skylar next time. We don’t need any gifts. If you can pay us a visit and eat

with us often, it’d be the best gift for us!”

“Definitely. Mrs. Fuller, I will come and visit you both often.” Yulia promised.

“Sure. Naomi, take Yulia and Lola to the living room. I’ll go and prepare dinner with Nathaniel.” Winona

nodded at Yulia before instructing Naomi.

“Skylar, there’s a bag of rice in the kitchen. Your dad has a bad back. Help him take it to the

storeroom.” Winona ordered Skylar

“Sure!” Skylar agreed and walked into the kitchen. However, there wasn’t any rice inside. Winona only

“Skylar. Yulia is a good girl. However, isn’t it bad for you since she has a daughter?” Winona asked

softly.

Nathaniel disagreed, “What’s wrong with having a child in this day and age? The most important thing

is that Skylar likes her. It’s not like he can’t afford to raise the child anyway!”

Winona hit Nathaniel in the arm and said, “This isn’t about whether he can raise the child or not.”

“Skylar can choose any kind of girl she wants. Why should he marry a divorced woman? Besides, Yulia

will have to meet with the child’s father often when the child is growing up. Will Skylar be the stepfather

then? I don’t want him to feel aggrieved regarding this.”

Regardless of how excellent Yulia was, Winona was only feeling concerned as a mother. She didn’t
