Jeremiah was quietly looking at the photo when he heard his personal secretary, Jackie Wurth, saying from the door, "Mr. Jeremiah, there's someone looking for you downstairs." "Who is it?" he asked.
Jackie was wearing a proper uniform, and she turned on the tablet she was carrying.
"It's Daphne Reyes. Madam Shannon has told you about her before. She used to be Mr. Xavier's girlfriend, but they broke up on a bad note.
"Mr. Xavier once sent her to a mental asylum. Madam Shannon said you don't have to play nice with her." Xavier had experienced a lot and met a lot of people in the past few years. Jackie was like Jeremiah's reminder- she helped him remember everything Shannon had and hadn't told him. "Got it." He tossed the photo he was holding into the trash can near him and exited the bedroom.

Jeremiah looked at her indifferently and sat on the couch. As Xavier was tsaw blind when she last saw him, she was surprised to find out it was only an act.
"I'm sorry, Xav. Ever since Madam Shannon letout, I've beediving in regret. shouldn't have lied to you. Will you forgive me?" When Jeremiah heard that, he understood why she was there. "Apologize to Yvette." Daphne was stunned. He raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong? Are you refusing to do it?" She immediately shook her head. "No. I'll do it right now." She took out her phone and was ready to call Yvette.
"I want you to kneel in front of her and apologize in person!" he said slowly.
