Chapter 1002 It’s Not the End of the Line Yet
Linda took a tiny breath and finally said, "Yes. I admit that we did it."
She left a way out for herself and didn't explicitly say she had killed Nelson. Even if the other party
recorded it, it was useless.
But…
She never thought the other party would say in a low voice, "I want the detailed process. Tell me clearly
how you killed Nelson."
Linda's expression changed at once. "Why must you know about this?"
"How can I save you without knowing what you did?" The other party's voice was slightly deep. She
even sneered.

"Do you know what the specific evidence is? As far as I know, she submitted documents at the time.
Do you think she only submitted what was mentioned in court? Do you think she has nothing else to
take you down in one shot? Why would she let you know beforehand?"
Linda's expression suddenly paled. She's right…
Linda didn't know what to do.
But the other party wasn't interested and immediately said in a low voice, "So are you going to tell me?
I'm swamped."
"Yes, I am!" Linda said with gritted teeth, afraid the other party would end the call.
She was now becoming more worthless. She feared that if she continued being stubborn, this person
behind her would give up on her. Then, they would have no other way to free themselves.
Linda took a deep breath and spoke slowly in the end.
"Nelson had allergies and hadn't been in great health, so my dad found a doctor to especially prescribe
medicine for him. Nelson's health improved, and my dad instructed the servants to feed Nelson what
he was allergic to. My dad also gave Nelson pills that worked against the medicine he was taking. As
days passed, the strain on his heart grew, and this caused his heart attack."
The other party suddenly laughed lightly. "What a great plan. Who else knows about this?"
"The two trusted aides at home." Linda shut her eyes. Since she had already talked about it, she had
nothing else to say.
"You let them live?"
"They are loyal and devoted to our family. We gave them a huge sum of money and let them leave."
"Pfft." The other party was disdainful. "Only the dead won't betray you. How careless. Can you still find

"Yes."
"Contact them and get rid of them within these two days."
Linda's expression changed, but she felt what the person said made sense, so she could only answer,
"Alright. I understand. Then about the second hearing…"
"You told me too late, and I can't ensure that those two servants will be captured. Things wouldn't have
been this way if you had told me about it earlier."
Linda was dumbfounded.
"So what should we do?!" She asked hurriedly.
The other party sneered. "What can you do? If this falls through, your family can only admit defeat. It's
the punishment for not telling me the truth."
Linda panicked and said at once, "No! I beg you to give me a chance! I can do anything you want!"
Linda was really frantic now. The other party said indifferently, "It's not the end of the line yet."
