Chapter 1025 Maybe Around Three Years
Norman almost burst into tears but could only nod his head. "Okay," he managed to utter.
When she walked away with the cops, Rose sniffled but said nothing further.
"Mom..."
Behind her, she could still hear her daughter's heart-wrenching cries, but Rose didn't turn around. If she
did, she feared she wouldn't be able to leave.
Rose turned away and closed her eyes. She forced back her tears.
Linda did nothing except watch her mother's stern demeanor. She started crying once again. All of this
is because of Elisa!
All of it was because of that despicable human!
Elisa took her time leaving. She did nothing except observe the scene in front of her. The group

"Benett, what should we do now?"
Elisa withdrew her gaze. "Let's first head outside," she said.
Rachel nodded and didn't say anything else.
Elisa scoffed as she examined Norman, overwhelmed with sorrow and remorse.
She didn't respond and avoided giving Norman and Linda another glance. She turned around and left.
Naturally, Rachel followed, and so did the others.
Norman walked up to Linda and saw her eyes start to turn teary. He sighed and pulled her into his
arms.
"Linda, let's go home," Norman said.
"Home..." Linda said those words dejectedly as if she were wondering what home there was without
her mother.
Even if her father was still present, she didn't know what to do because her heart felt unsettled.
"Let's go home," Norman repeated with another sigh.
Linda sniffled and became silent. She followed behind Norman.
She experienced utter misery since she was so miserable on her journey home. She completely lost
control when she arrived at her house and began speaking without thinking, "Elisa! I shall eventually
murder her with my own hands! She will plead for mercy! I'll make her suffer!"
Norman heard Elisa's name and gnashed his teeth. He agreed and cried, "That's right! One day! We'll
personally kill that despicable woman!"
Linda suddenly lacked the energy to continue the conversation. She couldn't help but cry whenever she
thought of her mother's predicament. She paused for a second and then turned to face her father.

Norman's eyes flickered with unease. "In this situation, it may take about three years," he confessed.
Linda clenched her fists. Her tears fell, but she didn't say a word.
...
On the other side.
Elisa and the others had gotten into the car. Elisa drove them today.
Carle sat in the passenger seat while Rachel and Sheena were in the back. Charli had already left for
other matters.
Carle called dibs on the passenger seat. He intended to be further from Sheena and nearer to Elisa.
He turned to look at Elisa. She was silent for the entire ride. Carle whispered, "Elisa, although there
may be a chance for this matter to turn around, she cannot escape legal sanctions. Let's think of
another solution."
Rachel bit her teeth because she didn't let her rage pass. She glowered, "That's easy to say, but she
even managed to come up with that many public interest bills. Where did she get that from?!"
