Chapter 343 Don't Look Back

"Great. You still remember me."

Irvin smiled very sinisterly and stared at Alexa as if looking at the prey.

"I said we would meet again, but I didn't expect it to come true so soon. It's really good."

He said affectedly and pretended to be affectionate, paying no heed to Terrence aside at all.

Alexa felt nauseous and did not intend to waste her time talking with him.

"Get out of my way."

"Oh, so you want to live here too?" Irvin said deliberately, "What a

coincidence! I didn't expect to be so close to you."

Irvin teased Alexa without restraint until a cold and piercing voice rang out.

"Irvin, are you courting death?"

Terrence looked indifferent, but his eyes were as cold as ice.

However, Irvin did not take that to heart.

"It was just a joke. Why are you so angry?"

"Mr. Niebergall." Alexa smiled perfunctorily. "Your joke is not funny."

"Really? I think it is quite funny."

The atmosphere instantly became cold. Feeling Terrence's tenseness, Alexa silently suppressed her

emotions.

"Let's go inside," she whispered to him.

She hated being looked up and down by Irvin, but they were on Ice Floral

Island. Alexa did not want to cause any other trouble.

Terrence forcefully suppressed his anger and walked past Irvin with a cold face, holding Alexa's hand.

Yet, shortly after they took two steps, Irvin stopped them.

Irvin said mischievously behind them, "Ms. Duran, if you need help, you can call me at any time.

Although I am very busy, I am willing to help a beautiful woman like you."

"Is this the upbringing of the Niebergall family?" Terrence said through gnashed teeth, "Do you like

harassing other people's wives so much?"

"You said it too early. Who knows whose wife she is?"

Instantly, the surrounding air seemed to be drained in an instant, and it was suffocating.

Alexa sensed that Terrence had released her hand.

"Go inside and wait for me." Terrence gently brushed the light hair on her temples. "Don't look back."

"Huh?"

Alexa did not know what was going on. The next second, Terrence turned around and walked toward

Irvin. He grabbed Irvin's collar and punched the latter.

The dull sounds of fighting suddenly rang out, and Irvin had bruises on his handsome face at once.

Terrence's clothes were still tidy and neatly elegant.

Irvin wiped the blood from the corner of his lips with his finger and slowly

stood up, the veins on his forehead bulging.

"Alright, you have guts," he whispered sinisterly, "Terrence, you better pray

that there won't be a day when you have to beg me."

Terrence did not reply to him, but leisurely took two steps towards him.

They were about to make a move again.

"Terrence..." Alexa subconsciously blurted out.

Terrence was stunned and did not move anymore.

"Go over quickly," Irvin sneered. "Your woman loves you dearly."

"Irvin, I have stated my bottom line. As long as you dare to cross the line, I

will definitely make you suffer."

Terrence's voice was so cold that it made Alexa feel strange. He seemed to

be gloomy all over.

"Terrence," Alexa called him in a firm tone again.

Only then did Terrence dispel the hostility around him and slowly walk to

her.

"Be careful!"

She was shocked and ran over to stand in front of Terrence without any

explanation.

However, a moment later, Alexa was held tightly in a warm but cold

embrace. The pain she imagined did not come.

However, the person who was holding her let out a subtle groan.

She panicked in her heart and hurriedly wanted to confirm his injury, but

Terrence refused to let go.

A few seconds later, a team of guards rushed into the quiet courtyard.

The bloody dagger fell to the ground, and Keyon tightly grabbed Irvin's wrist.

His deep eyes were faintly murderous.

He slightly turned his head to look at Alexa, who was held in Terrence's

arms, and felt relieved.

However, the cloth on Terrence's shoulder was pierced, and blood quickly seeped out completely.

"Mr. Niebergall." Keyon remained polite against his will. "You hurt people with a weapon. If the head of

the Niebergall family knows about this, I'm

afraid..."

"It's just a slip of the hand. I didn't hold it firmly." Irvin withdrew his hand with a gloomy face, not taking

this matter to heart. "Don't bother about such

a trifle."

"Alright," Keyon replied. "Then I hope you won't slip your hand anymore. After all, this kind of thing can

easily injure people."

While speaking, Keyon kicked the dagger on the ground out of the door.

"The head of the family is still waiting in the main hall. Please go there."

Irvin smiled proudly and acted like a noble person.

Keyon looked away coldly, and when he looked at Terrence, his expression

softened a little.

"When I am not here, please take good care of my sister."

After he finished speaking, he left with his subordinates.

Alexa could not wait to get out of Terrence's arms and hurriedly wanted to

check the injury on his back.

"Let me see if the injury is serious."

"It's fine."

Terrence took her to the room and did not show his back to Alexa.

"He is too weak to hurt me."

"Irvin, that damn bastard!" Alexa swore angrily, "He is so despicable."

"Don't be angry." Instead, Terrence patiently said, "He can't make any waves."

Alexa glanced at Terrence worriedly and then took him to the door of a

room.

"Here we are."

She took out the key to open the door, and the furnishings inside were still

as usual.

With a place to stay, Alexa felt much more at ease.

"Wait for me. I'll go find the medicine box."

"Okay."

Alexa went into the inner room with familiarity, and Terrence looked around

the living room alone.

The decoration style here was exactly the same as their home in New York.

There was a smile in his eyes, but when he saw the photos of Damarion on

the wall, Terrence felt guilty.

All the evidence reminded him that he was absent from the two most

difficult years of Alexa's life.

When Alexa found the medicine box and came out, she didn't find Terrence

in the living room.

She immediately searched the room in a fluster and finally found that the

bathroom door was ajar. There was the sound of clothes rubbing from

inside.

Alexa could not care so much. She directly pushed the door open and entered.

"I..."

Before she could finish her words, she froze in place.

Terrence's shirt, which had not yet been taken off, was drooping down to

his waist. He turned his back to her and his perfect profile became more charming under the light.

Alexa looked along his neck and shoulders and saw the shocking wound on

his back.
